Neu Ulm to Dillingen

Riding out of Neu Ulm, I was able to take a video of Ulm, which was just across the river. My first task was to find a sports shop where I could buy a bicycle seat pad. The hard, narrow seat of my bike was causing major pain and chafing of my butt. I was able to find a large shop, BOC - Bike & Outdoor, about 1 km from the hotel. They had seat pads on clearance for 5 Euro.

On the way to Dillingen, I veered away from the river for a bit and crossed over the busy A7 Autobahn. Once back along the river, after passing north of Gunzburg, I road on a gravel path along the top of the levy. After entering the town of Gundelfingen I stopped for a rest at a park bench in a small plaza in the center of town. While sitting on the park bench, I heard my name from the other side of the plaza. It was Greg and Michelle on the their tandem bike, who were also taking a rest. We chatted and caught up on our rides before heading out at different times and paces.

Leaving Gundelfingen, I started feeling a little hungry and a bit lightheaded. Passing a Rewe grocery store, I bought some chocolate and a large bottle of blood orange juice. After drinking the orange juice in a park next to the Rewe, I continued on. Once entering Dillingen, I followed the main boulevard to the street of my hotel, the Sleepy Sleepy Hotel. After a long rest, I went to find some dinner. I came upon a Chinese noodle stand, Nudelbox Asia Imbiss, just as they were closing. They let me order some fried noodles to take out and eat in my room.
